National Service and Sacrifice Awards
Since 2007, Recognizing America’s First Responders

Since 2007, the National Service and Sacrifice Awards program of the ReadyCommunities Partnership, a project of the Corporate Crisis Response Officers Association, has recognized citizen, volunteer, and career responders for their commitment and acts of service – particularly in the first 72 hours of a large-scale or national crisis - or their ultimate sacrifice to preserve and protect America’s communities. 

Past awardees have been acknowledged at ReadyCommunities Partnership events including the National Congress for Secure Communities in Washington, DC (2007); the ReadyCommunities Partnership Military Base and Port Community Resiliency Symposiums at the Port of New Orleans (2013) and at the Port of Long Beach (2014) and other ceremonies.  Past sponsors have included ESRI, Germane Systems, Sprint, and Target.  Awardees to date are listed as follows:
